We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo....

I had so much fun playing with Daddy for a couple hours this morning while Momma took a big nap.  For the first time, I went crazy in my Jumparoo! I am really getting the hang of how this thing works.  Check out the video Daddy snapped to show Mommy when she woke up:

After I had napped and fed, we went on a BIG adventure to the Woodland Park Zoo!  Momma and Daddy had never been there before, so they had as much fun as I did exploring it for the first time.  There were so many amazing animals and I lasted a long time checking them out all wide-eyed.  Momma and Daddy got me a 5 monthday present, too - my very own zoo membership so we can come back again another day.

Baby triplet jaguars (so cute!), gorillas (Momma's favorite -- so fascinating... and so up close and personal), penguins, baby lion cub quadruplets, monkeys...

My favorite was the toucan.  It was flying back and forth and I had fun following it with my head and eyes.  Fascinating!

Of course, we had to take pictures with my nursery animal:  elephants! (real and fake)

The last animal I remember seeing were the hungry, hungry hippos.  They were huge!  I learned that I could FaceTime with Grandma without being on Wifi, so I had fun showing her too.   But then I started losing it a little....

The activity of the day caught up with me and I was suddenly O-U-T.  Observe:

Mommy and Daddy quickly got Daddy his smashed pennies (obviously a necessity for him) and got me home to bed. 

To finish off the day (after I was more well rested), we had a BBQ with Auntie Nicole at her house.  I decided to try out a new flavor while I was there: cousin fur.  

Verdict:  I think I'll stick with milk.
