Baby's First Bo Sox Game!

Today I experienced a very important milestone in a baby's life... my first Boston Red Sox game!  :)  Momma and Daddy dressed me up in my special outfit (okay, so I had already grown out of the onesie, so they had to be a little creative with getting it on me....) and took me to Safeco field (where I will more often see the Red Sox play in my lifetime) for the big game.  I got a special certificate from the management there, commemorating my first Mariners game (even though I told them I was mostly a Red Sox fan).  We had some pretty sweet seats on the Wells Fargo Terrace Club level -- aisle seats, second row with no one in front of us because of the angle -- so we were right next to the press box with a clear view of the field.  And, there's a private concession stand area behind us where it's a bit quieter, which we liked.

I had so much fun looking around at everything and didn't even mind it when Momma and Daddy put my baby headphones on when it started to get loud.

Look at me... so happy to be there!

Starting to get a little nervous for the Red Sox when the Ms got an early lead...

Come on, Red Sox!  This is a nail-biter.... or a bib-sucker....

Yay, way to catch up, Sox -- it's a tie game!

And then... Ms went on to score big and beat the Red Sox.  Or so they tell me.  Luckily for me, I won't remember it and, most importantly, I slept through all the excitement after Daddy walked the terrace level with me in the Ergo for a while since I was getting fussy. (Apparently super loud crowds and music help lull a baby to sleep when it's bedtime!)

Sox went on to win the other 3 games of the 4 game series... the ones we were not present for.  Hmmm.... Mommy says whenever she goes to Safeco, the Sox lose, but she was hoping I would be a better luck charm.  Maybe next time, when I stay awake for the whole game. :)
