Today marks the day Momma resorted to desperate measures. After reading several Amazon.com reviews at 3am when she was not sleeping, she ordered this Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit. It's supposed to help me transition from the swaddle by being a giant snow-suit like cozy contraption that provides enough resistance when I startle on my back that I go back to sleep. It worked pretty well and I slept straight through. I can't really roll in it and that's the point. At least it didn't take me 1.5 hours to settle down for a nap!
After my nice long and cozy morning nap, Momma and I went to Bellevue for the day. We went shopping with Kinley and her mom, Alycia, so the Mommas could get some new clothes. I was a happy, shrieky boy in the dressing room but no one seemed to mind. Then, we went for lunch at Red Robin... but I missed most of that because I was napping in the Ergo. Afterwards, we walked around the mall a little more, shopped at Old Navy (Momma got me a couple cute things, of course, at both stores...even though she was supposed to be shopping for herself), and met Shantali there for a few minutes.
Then it was off to book club - our last one at Jan's house because she's moving (so sad! She was supposed to be my surrogate Grandma next year when she retires...but she's moving to be with her own grandchildren, so that's good for them). The ladies loved on me but I was cranky and fell asleep for most of book club in Momma's arms. Daddy hadn't seen me all day so he missed me and gave me lots of kisses when he got home!
