Today, Daddy had to have a colonoscopy and Momma and I had to take care of him. He had to be awake from 2:30am onwards, so Momma thought she could get a little extra rest and have Daddy give me my 5:30am feeding. Big mistake: I did NOT want a bottle at that time. Doesn't Daddy know that's not how we do things around here? Momma didn't sleep much and I was awake extra early. When it was time for my nap, it was also time to drive Daddy to the doctor's. It was a quick procedure, so by the time Momma came home, fed me, and put me down for a nap, it was time to wake up again and pick him up. So, by the time we got Daddy, he and I were both primed to take big naps - me 3.5 hours (with a feed in the middle) and him 4.5 hours!
Then we had fun playing in the house before moving outside to hang out on the lawn. Our neighbors were outside so we played with them too. The oldest girl (going into 4th grade) had the most fun holding and playing with me. She even helped to change my diaper. I am such a charmer.
Then, "Auntie" Michal, "Uncle" Jason and my bff, Lily came over for a BBQ in our backyard. Lily checked out how (not) toddlerproof our yard was and the adults had fun chatting. Afterwards, we went to Madrona to get Molly Moon ice cream and then check out the playground there. Check out the cute pics Momma snapped:
P.S. One year ago today, Momma and Daddy found this house we live in now. They can't believe it's been almost a year since they moved in!
