Today was lots of fun! In the morning I had fun playing with Momma. I even sat on her lap and had a conversation with her... something I haven't felt like doing in a little while because I just want to move. :) I still want to move a little, though... ignore the unshowered photos of Momma below, but notice that I am pushing off her even in this position. I used to fit completely between her legs and belly in this position. Not anymore! I am also getting stronger when I am playing on my mat. I've been using Luigi the Lion to help pull myself up like a sit-up and also to help me roll. Here I am staring intently at him:
After playtime, it was time to head to Bellevue to the Kelsey Creek Farm for my first concert! It was a kid's band from Anacortes and I was mesmerized! I sat in Mommy's lap and watched the whole show intently. We met up with my baby friend Kinley, her brother Jacson and her mom, Alycia (Momma's friend she used to teach with). After the concert, we went to lunch. Kinley and I slept a little in our carseats but woke up in time to snap a cute shot, shown below. You may remember the photo of us leaning on each other on Kinley's couch when we were much smaller. We are getting so big!
When Daddy got home, he and Momma brought their dinner into the backyard and I got to play with my next-door neighbor friends. They are in love with me and I LOVE being entertained by them. The best thing is when they shake leaves at me... I think that's SO funny! Renzo is playing with my legs, helping me kick, in the photo below - something else I love. Then Momma brought out the fire pit and it was time for me to experience my first fire. WOW, fire is pretty cool to watch. I even helped Daddy and Mommy roast their marshmallows for the s'mores (which they said were delicious).
