I slept better on my tummy/side last night, although Momma was up again worrying about me. She has to stop that! Anyway, we had fun hanging out at home. Check out how much my hair is growing in the picture to the left. My baby rat tail is still there but my neck is longer, so it looks like part of my head now. You can see the difference from my baby hair and my new hair. The baby hair is definitely darker and redder in color and the new hair is more blonde. I'm also getting another baldy stripe across the back of my head where I sleep. Perhaps that'll go away soon, though, due to my newfound habit of sleeping on my side/tummy.
In the morning, we drove to Bellevue to drop brother Kobe off at the vet for his comprehensive. I was awake and chatty for the ride. Then it was naptime when we got back. It took me 1.5 hours to settle down and really nap straight today. Napping is harder unswaddled now than nighttime sleep is... it's just so much fun to play with my hands even though I am so.sleepy. It's also pretty warm in the house this week. Momma was pretty frustrated because she had to keep soothing me and flipping me back over when I got mad. When I finally went down and stayed down, it was time for yoga. Momma was bummed that she had to skip it but she guesses that's part of being a parent sometimes.
It was important that I got my second nap in in the afternoon because I had my Baby Genius Academy class at 3:30. Momma took lots of pictures this time to document most of my activities. Today's country was Thailand, so the book and all the activities had a Thai theme. Here I am playing on the tummy time experience mat. I liked the hanging thingies.
Here I am playing the baby piano. Hitting the keys was kinda cool, but I didn't love it as much as my babyfriend Anders did!

More tummy time adventures -- "crawling" up the mat. I preferred to eat the top and hang on for dear life. See below:

Art project time: Watching paint dry. Seriously. Momma copied someone else's elephant ("chaang") and I painted on top of it and watched the paint dry. Amazing what fascinates us babies, right?

Here is my finished artwork from last week and this week!
The night was spent at our PEPS meeting at my babyfriend Kayleigh's house. I had a big poop that Daddy had fun cleaning up (my first in six days... yes, that's typical for me and yes, it's normal the doctor says) and, other than that, had fun playing with my pals while the Mommas and Papas dined on delicious bbq food. Yum!
