Baby's First Beach Day!!

Well, the day Momma had been waiting for finally came - Baby's First Beach Day!  :)  This morning, Sherrie, Adam & Lily came over and we decided to head to Misquamicut Beach in Westerly.  The adults got the baby tent Gamma had gotten me all set up as well as a spread of blankets and towels and an umbrella to make shade for me.  I was content to lie on the towel and chew my new sailboat while this took place.  After a feed, we snapped some cute photos. Then it was time to touch the ocean with my toesies.  I'd touched the Pacific Ocean in SF, now it was time for the Atlantic Ocean.  Here is how I felt about that:

Bummer!  I quickly recovered, though, and had fun for a little while hanging out with Daddy on the beach chair and watching Lily play with the toys in the tent.  


We walked to lunch across the street from the beach (Mommy and Daddy had some delicious crab cakes, clam cakes, chowder, and clam strips) and then Sherrie, Adam and Lily went back to try and take a nap at the hotel.  We stayed for another feed on the beach and then raindrops started falling so we booked it to the car.  We made it back in time for me to nap and then they came back over and we headed to the Masonic Youth Center to take some photos of "Auntie" Sherrie's belly.  We snapped some other pretty cute ones while we were there too:

After a dinner at Grille on Main where I was a smiley, happy boy, it was time to say good-night.  Gamma and Gampa read stories to me, fed me a bottle, and helped put me to bed. It was a little late, but it was nice to snuggle with them a little while longer.
