Sleep Deprived

Well, that was unsuccessful.  Momma and Daddy tried to pretend the rolling was a fluke and keep me unswaddled, but... I kept rolling and screaming when I was on my tummy.  So then they tried me with my arms unswaddled so I'd have them to push myself back over and... I kept rolling and screaming when I was on my tummy.  Then, when it was far too early to be up, I became aware that my hands were FREE and could DO THINGS, like pop the pacifier out of my mouth and try to put it back in.  It was actually pretty hilarious to watch, except that I would get really mad when it didn't go in the right way (I am not that dexterous yet) and Momma and Daddy were really sleep deprived (especially Momma, as she was up all night worried about my flipping / flipping me back over).   Here is an example of one of my attempts to put the paci in.  I clearly need to work more on my fine motor skills:

At naptime, Momma and Daddy tried me in the sleep sack with PJs and one arm unswaddled.  I was so exhausted that that worked pretty well.

We still managed to do some fun things during the day, even though we were all pretty tired.  Here I am reading with Daddy and playing with "Ko Ko."  Daddy says he'll learn to like it:

We had three social engagements over a very short period of time to attend after my afternoon nap.  We went to Bastille Day in Madison Valley (our neighborhood) where Momma & Daddy sampled some yummy food from local restaurants and we met up with Aunt Nicole & Uncle Mitra.  Then we went to my buddy Olaf's house for a bbq with our PEPS baby friends.  We finished the night off at Jess & Eric's house for Eric's birthday BBQ where I fell asleep for part of the time and then got crabby enough that it was time to leave and put me to bed for what Mom and Dad were hoping would be a sleepy night...
