WR Assembly & PEPS

Well, today was the day we were going to skip going to WR, but as it turns out, we can't get enough of the place! I woke up smiley and happy (see below) and had a nice morning with Mommy.  Then, we were able to head over a little earlier than the assembly so that Momma could take photos of her kids to put in a thank-you book for Amy, her sub.  I was a good boy during this - took a little nap for part of it and then had fun laying on a blanket in the hall while Momma finished.  When she turned her back, I went ahead and rolled over from my tummy to my back for the first time since the day I did it all those times a few weeks ago.  And I wouldn't do it again... Momma was bummed.  But, her student Julius got to witness it because he was out working in the hall and he was a big fan of the whole thing.  He (like all the other kids) just loved playing with me. :)

Then, we headed off to the assembly. Momma wanted to go because they were saying good-bye to their principal and a few special staff members who were retiring.  I loved every minute of it... I had so much fun watching all 600+ kids sing!  Here's a picture of the end of the assembly (kids' faces blurred for privacy reasons).

Oh, and today was the day I decided to love Sophie! Momma's been trying to get me to do this every day, but today, I learned why she is the world's most popular baby toy - check out how I can easily grasp her legs and thrust her face into my mouth. :)  I had so much fun playing with her the whole car ride to/from school.

At night, we went to our PEPS meeting at my friend Maggie's house, where Momma had delicious food and I had fun with another new favorite activity - rolling to my side.  I really liked giving Maggie's activity gym a hug while Momma ate.

We missed Daddy, but it was a good day nonetheless.
