Class Picnic and Bye-Bye, Daddy

Today was a fun day to kick off the last week of school.  In the morning, I had fun playing on my activity gym.  Check out how good I am getting at grabbing things in my reach!  I have accumulated a lot of toys and enjoy playing with them while on my tummy. I especially like playing with Owlette, featured below - she has some pretty cool different textures I like to chomp on.

We went to the park around the corner from the school to meet Momma's class and some other classes for the year-end 4th grade picnic.  It was beautiful weather and we found a comfy spot in the shade.  Momma had some pizza with her kiddos while I was basically oogled at by all the kids - especially one little pack of girls who just couldn't get enough of me.  They all ate around my blanket and I had fun taking all the new faces in.  Then, my new buddy Aspen joined me!  She's Mommy's co-worker Josh's daughter and is 8 months old... and in a teeny weight percentile.  I am almost bigger than her at 4 months!
It was a fun day!

Faces blurred to protect kids' identities... but check out Momma's class.  There are a lot of kids... and quite a few were missing!
